ACENSI Belgium is looking for a Linux and Oracle Engineer for one of its clients.
Objectives of the job
Your main responsibilities are, together with the team,
- You maintain frameworks and scripts, mostly written in Perl. You are also able to adapt them to new oracle versions or new requirements.
- You participate in projects, on technical or application level.
- For projects on technical level, you represent the oracle team.
- For projects on application level, you provide the necessary expert knowledge to the application team.

You are involved in activities of the team. Some examples are : Creating and distribution of oracle components packages, Incident and problem solving, Solving and implementing security recommendations
The client work in a SAFe context (scaled agile framework).
Your profile
- Active Perl knowledge: the ability to read, understand and debug existing code as well as write new code.
- Linux experience
- Basic Oracle DBA knowledge or interested in learning oracle
It's added value having knowledge of the following products :
- UAC
- Bladelogic
You are able to do weekend activities if required. (Planned)
